Reading in our life
Some times I'm fond of reading. In my opinion, books are a source of emotional inspiration and romantic feelings. Reading is very useful, because books enrich our experience with that of the other people and help us to relax. As for me, I usually read before going to bed and I can say that reading before sleeping helps me to relax. Besides, books help us to continue our own education. We can use dictionaries on our English lessons. I'm sure that a reader lives a richer life than a non-reader does. Especially if he reads for information. As for me, I read both; for fun and for information. The time spent on a good book is never wasted. Reading is rewarding past time. But some people think that the tempo of modern life is too fast to waste time on reading. They are sure that books have begun to lose their prestige and value. I disagree. Because now you can find books everywhere, even on computers. Steven King published his last story only in the Internet. So you can't find this story in books. I enjoy books of different genres : satiric and detective stories, historical poems. I read books after Belarussian, Russian and Foreigner writers. Among my favorite writers are Pushkin, Chekhov, Bulgakov, Chays and others. As for Books, one of my favorite book is "Barrette's Rats" by Hadley Chays. It's a detective story. The scene is laid in one of the American City in the 50th. The plot of the book is very interesting. The characters are well drawn. The book tells about a detective who had got his own detective agency and he wanted to find one sailor of drugs who had a gang of killers. There are some tragic and funny episodes in the book. Many people bought books in bookshops and stalls. But I prefer to get books from the Libraries. There are many libraries in our city; we can get books from our school library. I know that librarian will always help me to make a choice, if I need it. Some times when I can't find the book in library. I can send for a book to the computer nets. Many people have books at home. These are the books of their favorite authors, dictionaries and reference books. My family also has a home library. They're over 150 volumes in it now. Books teach us what is right and what is wrong, to understand the world and people in it, mould our character and at the same time tells us exiting stories.
